Billboard campaigns - audience estimation (Romanian Highways)

If your OOH campaign is targeting Bucharest, you should consider advertising on DN1 (the route linking Bucharest with Prahova Valley resorts and also with Ploiesti Brasov, Cluj, Tg Mures). Active population living in Bucharest will be found on DN1 on regular basis traveling to week-end destinations. Average Annual Daily Flow is 40.000 up to 54.000 vehicles/day. This value is slightly different on various segments.

Although A3 Motorway (Bucharest - Ploiesti segment) has been completed in 2012, DN1 Highway still carries the most of the traffic because it is a shorter route. Bucuresti - Ploiesti via DN1 route is about 10 km less than Bucuresti - Ploiesti via A3.

Second important connection is A1 (Bucharest - Pitesti Motorway). This is the connection with Romanian western border and also western Romanian cities (Pitesti, Craiova, Timisoara, Arad, Sibiu, Ramnicu Valcea, Deva). Average Annual Daily Flow also exceedes 50.000 vehicles / day.
